my country's composite materials market size will reach about 258 billion yuan in 2022 (excluding CCL copper clad laminates, natural fiber composite materials and metal matrix composite materials, etc.), accounting for 38.1% of the world. Domestic growth in China was 7.5% compared to 2021.
Meng Yijie, secretary-general of the China Composite Materials Industry Association, said that China still occupies and will continue to occupy the highest market share in the world, and predicts that the compound annual growth rate in the next five years will be around 5%-6%. In the next five years, the growth rate of composite materials in Europe and the United States will maintain a high growth momentum of 4.6%.
From a regional perspective, in 2022, the composite material output of China, Europe, and North America will account for 43%, 15.1%, and 21.5% of the world respectively, and the output value will account for 38.1%, 17.2%, and 25.5% respectively.
