Phthalic acid general-purpose resin 140, double-ring (DC) hand-laminated resin 280, artificial stone/quartz stone resin 80, fiber-reinforced resin 220, winding structure layer resin 120, winding bis-phenol inner liner resin 130, NPG type mold-pressed/non-invasive resin 180, DPG type mold-pressed resin 330. Today’s resin prices are set to increase by another 100 to 200 yuan over the prices from April 1st, with the DC-type resin prices rising by 400 yuan.
The raw materials market has experienced significant fluctuations in tandem with oil prices. Overall, the increase in prices has been greater than the decrease. The cost of UPR continues to rise, and prices are being adjusted accordingly. After April, the market will focus on three key issues: first, the escalating conflict in Iran, with the Strait of Hormuz remaining closed; second, the depletion of basic raw materials in various Asian countries, with an increasing number of large petrochemical companies declaring force majeure; and third, as the stockpiles of imported naphtha, propane, and butane, among other basic raw materials, dwindle, China’s capacity for supplying and storing chemical products has begun to decline. It is anticipated that prices for most chemical products will continue to rise over the foreseeable future.
